Title: "Angel wings" - there are two pieces in total (a pair from this trunk)

Our most spectacular unique piece, made from a very old Japanese string tree from a castle garden. We made the base from a large oak slice with a diameter of approx. 100 cm with epoxy resin inlays. The connection on the back with laser-cut and black powder-coated steel in the shape of the wing was a special design. The crack side is brushed, the back is polished.

A dream piece e.g. for an entrance hall of a larger company...

Dimensions: approx. 180 x 130 x 15-20 cm

This Japanese string tree comes from a park near Stuttgart and had to be felled for safety reasons because it was torn in the middle. This is one of the two halves at the crack. The tree was felled on Shrove Monday, March 4, 2019 and then sawed up by me on site.

It was exhibited there on the open day of the University of Hohenheim on 08.07.2023.
