Rarity - very old extremely wild grained olive from Greece (from the famous green island of Tassos) - we are in possession of (only) four individual absolutely sensational ancient olive trunks, which were felled in 2019 and sawed open on site with a vertical block band saw. They were dead/no longer bearing olives and instead of turning them into firewood, they could be turned into these "diamonds in the rough" in a purposefully planned operation. I claim it will be hard to find anything comparable on the market. The pieces from it are up to 7,5 ft long and up to ca.35 Inches wide (in one piece)!. Everything from coffee tables to counters to dining tables is included/makeable. These pieces are also predestined to be finished with resin. Since they are heavily riddled with cracks and voids, this alone is an "art" (and extreme test of patience) in itself.

This is one of the particularly beautiful coffee table pieces with ca.59 x 35 x 1,8 Inch. It is cast with epoxy resin in black and gold inlay, which is an particularly extremely laborious undertaking with these pieces. However, the result is more than worth all the effort.
