This is our table top project TP39 titled "golden cloud". It is an absolute rarity. It is a copper beech slice of truly gigantic proportions from a park near Stuttgart, which was sawed by us on site. Tree disc No. BU38 is a “sister disc” from this trunk and is almost identical.

The dimensions are spectacular, about 7,2 ft x 53 inch x 3,2 inch

Unfortunately, this ancient tree had to be felled for safety reasons, as it had a forked trunk that had already split and was threatening to tear apart. We were able to saw the trunk on site and then put it in storage to dry. After about 5 years of air drying, this piece was placed in the drying chamber at the end of 2022, and then I started production. From around summer 2022 to November 2022, I was already working on this exceptional tabletop. Currently, the blank is completely cast and ready for finishing. I expect the finishing work to take about 6 to 9 months. The base can be selected or custom-made to suit your individual requirements. I would be happy to make suggestions as soon as I know what your dream scenario looks like. I have documented and will continue to document every single step/work process with videos and photos, which will also be provided to you as a finished video documentation after delivery. PS: The wave-like pattern on the surface is the epoxy resin coating and will be completely planed and sanded smooth during the final processing stage.

So (following photo cropped black) you can imagine the piece ready oiled, but here are still missing the cracks that were filled with epoxy resin. This photo was taken immediately after the pane was freshly sawn, because everything still shines wet you can already guess how it will look later after oiling...
