Herrmann Massivholz is the first German table manufacturer for unglued unique tables and counters with its own regional wood trade. We manufacture exclusively at our site in Leinfelden near Stuttgart. Our central warehouse is also located here.
What makes us special is our raw material with proof of origin from which we create these extravagant unique pieces and our method of "wood extraction". We also (with a few exceptions) do not do classic gluing work, but work with a single piece of wood or with a maximum of two pieces. In most cases, the wood comes from the region and was sawn and stored by us on site (sometimes we even felled the tree). We only process special individual trunks that usually have to be felled due to age/hazard or construction work and store the wood slowly in the air for many years before it goes into the drying chamber. If the log is worth it, we spare no effort to get it out of very difficult terrain - often without the use of machines. Many a "treasure" has come to us in this way.

We manufacture exclusively in Stuttgart. Sales, delivery and installation are carried out directly by us. You only have one direct contact person.
Our elaborate surface treatment leaves the wood natural, but makes the table robust and easy to care for. We only work with hard oils and hard wax oils, i.e. the natural wood surface and breathability are retained. We are reluctant to use surface sealants of any kind.
We firmly believe that only "handmade" with a natural surface is truly exclusive.
Our focus
Overview
It was a long way to get there. When the company was founded in 2014, we were the first professional contract cutting provider with mobile chain sawmills in Germany, followed shortly afterwards by tree felling. As a logical consequence, the timber trade for regionally harvested, self-sawn fine and rare solid wood developed from this.
Since around 2020, the focus has been on table manufacturing for handcrafted unique tables and counters, which we sell exclusively directly under the "Herrmann Massivholz" brand and manufacture in Leinfelden near Stuttgart. As we care for and document our wood right from the start, you can be sure that you will only receive mature, seasoned wood, including proof of origin. In addition, we now always check the moisture content of the wood again before the order is placed and, if necessary, dry it again in our own drying chamber. Our regional wood selection is probably unique, especially the many individual pieces, even in oversize. We have already had customers from Belgium and Austria come to us for this. We also have many material options that we can combine with wood, such as steel, glass, hard wax and epoxy resin. The surface remains natural, but we make it robust and easy to clean. Each table comes with a certificate of origin (sometimes also the history) and a production video. Our customer has only one contact person.

Patrick Herrmann's
Sometimes there really are strange coincidences. Such is the story of Mobilsäge-BW and the table manufacturer "Herrmann Massivholz". Because there are two Herrmanns at work here, same first and last name, same age. Patrick Herrmann ("the shorter one"), one a Franconian from Nuremberg and the other ("the longer one") a Swabian from Stuttgart. We met many years ago in Stuttgart when the postman delivered a parcel to the "wrong person".
Our passion is the natural material wood from which we produce exclusive individual solid wood tables and bar counters unique in elaborate handwork. We sell these directly under our brand "Herrmann Massivholz".
Regionally harvested wood which we saw ourselves with our mobile sawmills forms our basis. Trees - especially the old ones - which are usually "disposed of", we save from ending up as wood chips and saw them up ourselves. In this way we can also determine from the beginning the shape of the later use. These pieces form the basis for our exclusive table tops and bar counters. Old trees in particular have cracks, knots and "imperfections", but this is what gives these pieces their charm and character. We incorporate these into the design of the piece and finish them with epoxy resins, always focusing on the natural beauty of the wood, which we bring to the fore.
For us it is also important to know the origin and as far as researchable the history of the tree and to record what we give to the customer together with a production video as a gift.
