Weymouth pine is the preferred wood for beekeepers to make their beehives from. Our Weymouth pine comes from the Franconian pine forests in the south of Nuremberg and is air-dried for at least 1 year. This means that it has the ideal wood moisture content for beehives and can be used immediately.
We currently have approx. 0.5 m3 in stock at our central warehouse in Leinfedlen near Stuttgart. The boards are all approx. 500 cm long and up to 45 cm wide in one piece. The A-thickness is 30 mm. All are rough sawn. We are also happy to offer processing, i.e. sawing, planing and sanding to size.
