TP52 - Oak dining table unique handmade: this was a custom commission and the table is now in the happy customer's home. For this type of tables we have a large stock of seasoned wood and yet each piece remains unique. The size is about 7,2 ft x 40 Inch x 1,8 Inch

I put it together from two large pieces of oak wood from the same trunk and glued them together in the classic way. The oak wood comes from the Nuremberg region and was individually selected by the customer in my own wood shop. Before starting work, I had to re-dry the already kiln-dried wood, as the moisture content was a little too high again due to the wet winter months. Once I had clarified the customer's wishes and the details, I was able to get started. A lot of manual work went into this table, which I show in detail in the accompanying production video. The delivery is always the most stressful part for me, as nothing else can happen, and it was also forecast to rain on the day of delivery, but everything went really well. PS: the rain started about 5 minutes after the plate was in the apartment...puhhh really lucky...And what a sensationally beautiful piece it turned out to be! The board has a lot of “mirrors”, as the radially sawn pith rays are called, which come out especially in the middle trunk pieces and the composition or the wood pattern (the technical term in carpentry) is perfect.
