The Material:
Made from a single piece (monolith tabletop blank)
This stunningly beautiful, one-of-a-kind tree-trunk table, crafted from a single piece of solid beech wood, comes from an ancient, historic beech tree. The tree—a natural monument—stood in a park near Stuttgart and had to be felled in 2017 for safety reasons. We were very fortunate to acquire this exceptional log and to be able to cut it into Monolith table blanks on site.

The Craft:
Handcrafted in Stuttgart. The natural edge has been shaped like a hand-carved stone, and the entire tabletop has been meticulously sanded with various grits to achieve a sensational feel. You simply have to touch this table. The surface is robustly constructed and impregnated with hard oil, ensuring that you’ll enjoy this table for years to come and can use it in everyday life without hesitation.
Measuring 240 x 110 x 6 cm / 4.7 feet x 43 x 2.3 inches, this one-of-a-kind table can be used as both a dining table and a meeting or conference table.
