Info: A sensational tree slice table top from a single piece of an ancient red oak with a tree edge. The extraordinary planting date of the tree is documented as 1820. I was able to saw this red oak into tabletop blanks on site in a park near Stuttgart. I carved this tabletop by hand with great care and impregnated it with organic hard oil for a robust yet easy-care surface. The cracks were filled with transparent epoxy resin on behalf of the customer and thus sealed forever. The base frame was individually selected by the customer to match.
There are still some similar pieces from this trunk that can be transformed into dining tables or desks. Two selected tree slice blanks can be viewed in my wood shop in Leinfelden near Stuttgart. I look forward to your inquiry.
