Tree slices Table top oak Project No.TP38 “two sides”

From an ancient, very large oak tree that we were allowed to saw up on behalf of a customer a few years ago, I was finally able to saw two huge slices out of the stump in the floor. This is the story of one of these two oak slices.

The slice had broken into several pieces and was badly rotten in the middle. All parts were neatly prepared and two smaller slices with a diameter of approx. 60 cm (one of oak and the other of walnut) were cast in the middle with epoxy resin in black and gold, so that this table top can be used on both sides, once with oak in the middle and once with walnut in the middle. This table top for 6 to 8 people is ideal for a conference table or dining table for 6-8 people.

This oval tree slice table top measures approx. 160 x 130 cm/5,2 feet x 51 Inches and is approx. 9-10 cm thick
