As a unique decorative piece, I also create wall art for you made from genuine solid wood, such as wooden wall art in the style of maps. All pieces are one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items made from solid wood and true to scale. To create these, suitable solid wood pieces are glued together, the outline of the country is transferred to scale, and the piece is then sawed out and shaped entirely by hand, sanded, and oiled. Some natural longitudinal cracks were extended and filled with epoxy resin.

In this example, it is a prototype of a map of Germany, crafted entirely by hand from regional oak, fully sanded, and oiled. The map is mounted using dowels with hooks recessed into the wall. To ensure an extremely strong and durable mounting, threaded sleeves are inserted into the back of the map.

Many other motifs are also possible for pictures in this style. Sizes up to approx. 150 cm/4,9 feet wide and 2-3 m/6,6-9,8 m long are possible.
