My Model No. 3, a dining table base made of laser-cut solid steel sheet—specifically, extra-wide flat steel in an extra-thick 12 mm0,47 Inches strength. The surface is raw black steel and, since the customer wanted an “industrial look,” was powder-coated with a transparent finish.

It is 71 cm/28 Inches high (which fits perfectly with the finished 5.5 cm/2,2 Inches thick solid maple tabletop), 80 cm/31,5 Inches wide overall, and 12 mm/0,47 Inches thick. The slat width is 15 cm/5,9 Inches. 

Another distinctive feature of this frame is the slotted holes; at the customer’s request, they were made extra-long (2 cm/0,8 Inches), allowing the width of the gap to be adjusted as desired, since the accompanying tabletop is made from two separate, very large maple planks that are screwed onto the frame individually.

This model—like every other model—can be custom-made to specific dimensions so that it fits perfectly with the selected table.
